Disclaimer: There is a reason for the '' in the heading, because this doesn't just apply if you are a "girl boss", buttt I just like the phrase so why the heck not, eh? Moving on swiftly...
Developing your own personal brand or business brand is something that can be challenging if you are not sticking to the right paths and being productive in that area. I have some great apps to share with you that help me stay productive and continue to motivate me. Whether you are working on your personal brand or your business brand, these apps that I am about to mention are in my opinion essential in killing it as a boss!

Google Keep - I think I've spoken about this in many of my previous posts, but there's a reason for it! Organisation is key and being able to plan your ideas is something that can have a massive influence in attaining results. At least I can vouch for myself, I get the most amazing ideas for my blog or even just life stuff at the most random hours in the day.. Literally in the shower, when I'm on my way to work, when I'm on the toilet even (tmi?). But I never used to jot down my ideas and I would always forget it by the time it mattered. So being able to use Google Keep to literally 'keep' all of my notes in one place is a great way to manage my life. You can categorise into different labels, so I have sections for work, blog, gym, and miscellaneous. I always create tick box lists so I can easily tick it off once complete. This is by far my most favourite app of all of these for staying organised and getting my sh*t together!
Alarmy - I can't lie to you, this app has been revolutionary in my morning habits. I went from someone who woke up instantly, to someone who struggles for the life of her to even get out of bed. Believe me, I'm not the biggest morning person. I have to put my alarm on half an hour before I even need to get out of bed (and even still I get up 15 mins after my alarm lol). This alarm app has multiple different tasks that you can select to actually get your brain working and moving out of bed. Examples include solving math problems (that's what I have it on), taking a picture of a particular item in your house or shaking the phone 30 times to set the alarm off. Some of them sounds silly, but it does help your body and mind wake up.
Forest - Are you someone who looooooves getting distracted by your phone? A little sneak peek at Instagram, a quick little video on Youtube? This somehow turns into 3 hours of meme comedy central! (trust me, I've been there, done that). This app is amazing at keeping you focused on your tasks and not getting distracted since it blocks you from accessing your phone. As a reward, you can build your own forest and collect points to build new trees. But not only that, in the pro version, you get to plant real trees in real life on Earth with designated environmental organisations. You get to help yourself and help the environment at the same time, sounds like a win-win to me!
Google Calendar - Are you someone who has a million and one things going in their life? Or you just have the memory of a goldfish like myself? This app helps me track any upcoming events I have with the option of setting reminders the day before. Lifesaver, believe me! I can colour coordinate too according to my email accounts - ie. The Tahmi Life, my personal life, my work. Its a great way to actually schedule potential events in the future so you don't clash anything together.
Bliss - My final app is slightly different to the others in the sense that they are primarily based on productivity and organisation. This app is directed towards self reflection and self development, through gratitude. I have mentioned in a previous post (click here) that gratitude is an important part of self development. And one thing that I like to do is write down what I am grateful for and why. Its a good way to keep you grounded and appreciate what you have in life, no matter how bad it may seem at the time.
I have found that since implementing these apps into my routine, my procrastination has reduced, my to-do's actually get done (hallelujah) and I feel a greater sense of fulfillment from it too. All of these consequences have led to a more productive or organised life, and made me a step closer to achieving my goals each time.
These are the apps that I use, but are there any that you use and have found useful? Or have you tried these apps, what do you think of them? Let me know in the comments below!
